YouTube Account Suspension
Audience: Google Workspace Administrators.
Purpose: Handle YouTube account suspensions for users in the TAMU Google Workspace tenant.
Overview
When a TAMU Workspace user receives notification that their YouTube account has been suspended, a support case must be created through the Google Workspace Customer Care Portal.
Google Workspace admins cannot see any information regarding YouTube suspensions for users in the TAMU tenant. Users must provide any email communications from YouTube regarding the suspension.
Resolution Process
Step 1: Create Support Case

Navigate to the Google Workspace Customer Care Portal

Sign in with a Google Workspace Admin account

Create a new support case for the YouTube suspension
Step 2: Gather Information
Request the following from the affected user:
- Email communications from YouTube about the suspension
- Username/channel URL affected
- Description of any actions that may have triggered the suspension
Step 3: Escalate if Urgent
If the request is urgent, contact the current Google Account Representative for escalation.
This escalation process is new and not yet fully documented by Google. Work with your account representative for current options.
